Their crests smoking, with a booming, thudding crash they explode on the rocks..."

With writing like that, it puts the reader there, on the beach.Alan Slomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17966543499033330765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7741901748146303937.post-26679730793575528352008-09-21T23:04:00.000+01:002008-09-21T23:04:00.000+01:00Another great write-up, and shame about the people...Another great write-up, and shame about the people. That is actually a Shangri la two with a Shangri La one bug net. A bit of a jury rig but it works fine. Possibly next week, if I can juggle bus fares, it may be the Cairngorms. You seem to have both a groundsheet and a bug net, or is that your bag hanging up?

The guy on the ferry sounds like a wannabe, charlatan (a tit). As for no kin, people are missed none the less. I can remember joining a forum group, February in the Lakes, one guy didnt show and yet had been most vociferous during the build up to the meet. We were meeting on the top of Kirk Fell to camp so not the most usual of spots to meet folk for the first time; anyway he didnt show. We missed his banter on return to internet forum world too. A few of us started to enquire and search for him (electronically): we were genuinely worried about him. Anyway he came back to chat about 6 weeks later - the great steaming nit!

I have only seen otters in the night, high on the West Dart while fishing for sea trout. I am quite envious that you were watchinh two play in daylight. Sounds like a fantastic trip.

Let the comments pass, and as for whatever is disturbing you let that pass too. Arhgggggggg we all know not sleeping well dosent solve things, but still we dont sleep.

Where next?Walk Dartmoorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01945706969120356292noreply@blogger.com
