I agree with the comments of others regarding the bit into Carlisle, it was a bit grim when I did it around 10-12 years ago - it doesn't seem to have improved. Having said that, I found the Keswick to Caldbeck section to be quite lovely. Apart from Keswick of course!John Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07569413172924501491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7741901748146303937.post-87752459853759139472017-05-29T20:41:20.790+01:002017-05-29T20:41:20.790+01:00Thank you Alan, glad you enjoyed the write up Andy...Thank you Alan, glad you enjoyed the write up Andy.Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09839157927650251268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7741901748146303937.post-25616124510638788882017-05-26T11:43:43.551+01:002017-05-26T11:43:43.551+01:00Enjoyed accompanying you on the walk - some good s...Enjoyed accompanying you on the walk - some good stories told :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7741901748146303937.post-85383244360302823502017-05-24T09:51:55.813+01:002017-05-24T09:51:55.813+01:00I think I would have ended it in Dalston, so well ...I think I would have ended it in Dalston, so well done doing the last stretch. I think it only goes into Carlisle as it's a transport hub. Your pictures are great btw. It was quite a few years ago that Mick and I walked the Cumbria Way, but I remember us commenting at the time that it would be better if it finished in Dalston. Neither of us thought much of that final trog into Carlisle. Gaylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648378503343413924noreply@blogger.com
